Head coach Dave Zielinskie. District 4 Class 3A champion; PIAA Class AAA East finalist

PA Football News lists Shamokin 12-1 in 1991 with Dave Zielinskie as head coach. No league record is on that line.

PIAA District IV's champions page lists Shamokin as the Class 3A champion for the 1991-92 school year. The PIAA results book has Shamokin in the Class AAA East championship on Dec. 7, 1991, at Mathewson-Memorial Stadium at Bucknell University in Lewisburg. Conestoga Valley won 28-20. Shamokin is marked as the District 4 team.

EasternPAFootball's Division I championship list has Berwick 13, Shamokin 7. PennLive names North Pocono, not Shamokin, as the 1991 Class A Eastern Conference champion, so that line is not filed here as a title game. Mount Carmel's archive lists the Sept. 20 meeting as Shamokin 22, Mount Carmel 0, with Mount Carmel away.
