EasternPAFootball's 2026 preview lists Shamokin 13-1 in 2025. PA Football News still shows 0-0 for 2025, so that line is not used here.
The preview's game log has Shamokin beating Shikellamy 37-7 in the District 4 semifinal and Jersey Shore 37-0 in the district final, then Bellefonte 42-13 in the PIAA first round, and losing to Southern Lehigh 27-30 in the quarterfinals. The Sun-Gazette and the District 4 bracket both have the district final at 37-0. EasternPAFootball places the Southern Lehigh game at Blue Mountain. It was not a Blue Mountain game.
On Oct. 24, Shamokin beat Mount Carmel Area 26-21 at Kemp Memorial Stadium and kept the Coal Bucket. EasternPAFootball's recap says the teams had played 118 times in a series dating to 1893. Trailing by a point late, Shamokin got the ball back when Logan Steele recovered an onside kick, then Steele hit Ryan Bickert for 38 yards and Zakem Clinton scored from the 2 with 16 seconds left.
WNEP's Super 16 preview on Aug. 21, 2025 had Shamokin No. 1 after the unbeaten 2024 regular season. That film is a preseason feature, not a 2025 game highlight. Shamokin Area TV has the district final against Jersey Shore.
